LAMBETHÂ REFURBISHMENT
This South London house has been refurbished throughout including relocating three bathrooms and the kitchen.
The existing basement rooms lack the grandeur of the raised Ground Floor level lounges. At both these levels, the main spaces have a weak relationship to the garden. These issues are addressed by the introduction of a double-height garden room within the existing Victorian extension of the house.
The Lower Ground floor level now forms the main social space of the house between this new garden room to the rear and the new kitchen to the front bay window. A new staircase forms the focal point to the central dining room, where a pivot door opens up to the external patio and garden.
